Indulge for two to three hours on an endless supply of superb dishes of which the majority is prepared on open fires in front of you. Kids will have hours of fun at the in-house play area featuring two wooden lighthouses, catwalks, sandpit, climbing wall, traditional old-school games, hammocks, trampoline, swings, giant bird nest, swing ball and even a zipline! The menu at De Vette Mossel Grootbrak offers a feast like no other – 7 courses, 13 dishes, served rolling buffet style.
1. Freshly baked Pot brood (pot bread) served with farm butter and sweet apricot jam
2. Mussel meat with onions, lots of garlic and farm butter
3. Mussels in half shell steamed with onions & white wine
4. West Coast Snoek with Sweet potato – West Coast style
5. Seafood pot with 3 types of fish calamari strips, mussels and prawn tails
Rice, Garden salad and Vegetable dish with milk and cheese
6. Meat potjie (for those who don’t eat seafood)
7. Water Melon and Sweet Melon or Tropical Fruit
8. Coffee and Koeksisters
